Sometimes, though not often, bands get it right the first time. And Mumford and Sons was one of those bands who really got it right the first time. The English folk rock combo's debut record Sigh No More is still considered one of the best breakout albums of the decade, with precisely rowdy music throughout, and evocative, original lyrics to match. After extensive touring both in the states and abroad, Mumford and Sons became one of the biggest acts of the decade, bringing the Americana genre back into the mainstream. Even though this group of gents has largely set down their banjos and mandolins, Mumford and Sons has plenty to offer to the rock genre, and continues to veer and stretch their music with the times.
